Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026. Designed for privacy by default.

1. What We Collect and Why

We collect the minimum information required to operate a mutual-consent missed-connection platform. When publishing a missed connection, you provide only conversational context (date, approximate time, topic, and a memorable inside joke). We never require a phone number, real name, or account to publish a post.

2. Cryptographic Anonymous Tokens

When you publish anonymously, we generate a high-entropy 32-byte management token and a recovery key. We only store a cryptographic SHA-256 hash in our database. The plaintext token is never stored and cannot be retrieved even by database administrators.

3. Automated Post Closure

The moment you and your conversation partner mutually confirm a reconnection, the original public post is permanently removed from discovery feeds, sitemaps, and search engines.

4. ChatKool Separation & Independence

We are completely independent and have no affiliation with ChatKool. We do not access, intercept, or request ChatKool private network packets, chat transcripts, or IP records. Reconnections are powered solely by human memory and voluntary consent.
